In late 2021, Indigo ELC Green Point became the second centre in the Indigo portfolio—a bold acquisition of a struggling childcare service that had long suffered from poor infrastructure, limited community engagement, and outdated practices. Led by Hannah Crossley, the transition was immediate and uncompromising.
From day one, major structural renovations began—transforming a long-neglected outdoor space into a dynamic, nature-based play environment. Simultaneously, Hannah implemented sweeping changes in staffing, compliance, educational quality, and health and safety protocols. Within just 18 months, what was once an underperforming centre became a leading example of best practice in early childhood education.
Today, Indigo ELC Green Point stands proudly as one of very few centres in Australia to be rated Exceeding in all seven Quality Areas of the National Quality Standard by ACECQA—a rare and prestigious achievement that reflects deep commitment to continuous improvement, pedagogical excellence, and community engagement.
